Tether and Fasanara launches StableFund
Tether and Fasanara Capital have launched StableFund with a $400 million commitment and plans to raise up to $3 billion from institutional investors. The fund will provide short-term, asset-backed credit to underserved small and medium-sized businesses and consumers through fintech platforms in more than 60 countries.Fasanara will manage and underwrite the investments, while Tether will source USDT-linked opportunities and supply stablecoin payment infrastructure. The initiative aims to expand USDT’s real-world use, but enters a private credit market facing rising defaults, portfolio write-downs, and investor outflows.
Hyperliquid joins CFTC in CME dismissal
The Hyperliquid Policy Center urged a federal court to dismiss CME Group’s lawsuit challenging the CFTC’s approval of perpetual futures in the United States.
