‍Job Summary

‍In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our brokerage operations, supporting daily settlement and clearance processes, executing customer orders, and collaborating with client managers to facilitate account management.

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with management to address operational challenges, monitor electronic order flows, and contribute to the development of systems and routines for compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you'll assist in conducting internal audits, structuring data for reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance by filing reports to regulators.

‍Responsibilities‍

• Execute daily settlement and clearance processes to ensure smooth operations of the brokerage.
• Efficiently and accurately execute over-the-counter (OTC) customer orders.
• Collaborate with Client Managers to facilitate seamless account management processes.
• Work closely with management to support daily operational activities and address any emerging issues.
• Monitor and support electronic order flow systems to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct random sampling of accounts for internal audit purposes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in structuring data for internal reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Help file and track Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to regulators, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Assist in the onboarding of new clients, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes.
• Contribute to the continuous development of systems and routines for KYC, KYB, Ongoing Monitoring, etc., to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

‍What we look for

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience (brokerage, trading, banking, or similar).
• Proficiency in Python programming and/or understanding of database structures.
• Interest in quantitative finance.
• Familiarity with data flows and APIs.
• Excellent understanding of blockchains and cryptocurrency.
• Strong systematic thinking and process-following abilities.
• Comfortable finding order in chaotic environments.
